I swear my sweet little Kaitlynn cant seem to get a break!! When I took her in for her 6 month check up she had her 4th ear infection (a double one at that!!). Then on Tuesday I had to take her back in to the doc cause I knew she just wasnt feeling so hot. And her ear infections hadnt cleared up yet!!! So now she is on her 5th!!! Thats 5 antibiotics already and she is only barely 6 months!!! Sweet baby. Then yesterday I noticed she had some white spots in her mouth!! Can you believe that!! So now her sweet little mouth is completely covered in white spots with thrush, her ears are both still infected and she has a bad bum rash too from the antibiotics! I feel so bad for her. But she is still such a great baby. She just goes with the flow and doesnt give me any grief. I couldnt ask for a better baby. Dont you just love the meds they give you for the thrush..I thought that with all the medical advances we have had that they could have come up with something that doesnt stain EVERYTHING purple!!! Crazy. Cute but crazy. So as you can guess my adorable little girl is getting tubes. She goes to the ENT doc on the 22nd so we can get that schedualed. So I am hoping that that helps her and she will just feel better. Isnt she just the cutest dang thing!!! Oh I just love her.

Yes, Beccka, she's so cute! I've been there with the thrush!! Never could get rid of Brynlee's when she was nursing and I'm still battling Mason's. After 4 or 5 times of the Gential Violet mess, I'm not putting it into his mouth again. I do have something that has been working awesome so give me a call. It will help her bottom too!!
Wow--poor baby girl! None of my babies every got thrush, but I have heard that it isn't fun. It sounds like she has had a rough go--sorry about that. Thanks for posting on my blog. I have added you to mine, so that I can spy on you constantly now!!! :)
Which ENT are you using, because you know I have very strong opinions on this. She is too cute to take to the wrong crazy doctor, if you catch my drift. If not, call me and we'll talk! Let me know if you need anything.
Oh my goodness-poor girl! I hope she gets better soon--she does look good in purple though! :) I saw the pics of her again and just smiled--they are soooo darn precious! She really is a sweetheart! Hayley
Poor little thing! My babies have never had thrush so I was wondering why on earth her mouth was PURPLE! She is such a doll though and I can't believe she is already 6 months old. Time flies. :)

Hey my Kaiya is doing the same thing. Except she is on about her 4th ear infection in 3 months. She got thrush in between, but my doc gave me a different med to cure that, because the purple stuff stains everything. He specifically said that. I started taking Kaiya to the Chiropractor for her ears. I know- weird, but it seemed to help Alexa when she was doing the SAME thing. If I see you wednesday I can tell you more about it if you want, but I wanted to try ANYTHING before tubes. I would like to know which ENT also. I probably have the same feelings as Casie. Good luck- I hope your precious girl will get better. Kepp me posted, cuz I am right there with you on this one!!!
